Using the Library

Library Cards

Patrons may use their library cards to borrow physical books for 3 weeks (and most books can be renewed), as well as GMLC’s online collection of audiobooks and e-books. Patrons in good standing may also borrow passes to various museums and attractions for a 5-day period.

Some resources, such as our old and historical books, must remain in the library.

If you have any further questions, please come in and speak to a librarian!

Mary Blood Book Collection

Book lending

Any resident of West Windsor may borrow materials from the library. A library card may be signed inside the library -- with the promise to return.

Books may be lent out for 3 weeks, and unless there is a waiting list, can be renewed for another 3 weeks.

If you are looking for a specific book we don’t have, we can request it from another library.

E-books and Audiobooks

We are affiliated with the Green Mountain Library Consortium (GMLC) for online databases hosting e-books and audio books.

Patrons with a library card can use either the Palace or Libby app or the link below to access digital materials. All you need to do if download the app and login with your library card barcode and password (this is usually your last name). If you need assistance, come in and talk to a librarian or give us a call.

Vermont Online Library

The Vermont Online Library (VOL) offers a wide array of electronic information databases on a variety of topics geared to a variety of age levels, for both generalists and specialists. The information is produced by known and trusted publishers and includes Gale Cengage Learning databases (via Vermont academic, school and public member libraries) and Universal Class online learning (via all Vermont public libraries.) These resources are available to you 24-hours-a-day from not only your participating local library, but your home, your office - or anywhere Internet access is available.
