Passes may be checked out for 5 days.

Billings Farm & Museum

Historic Jersey dairy farm and museum showcasing Vermont’s rural culture, past and present, through dynamic daily programming and special events.

Pass provides entry for four people, age 4+ at a discounted rate of $10/person. (Normal rate is $20)

 

Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium

The only public planetarium in Vermont invites you to take a tour of the cosmos, get transported by extreme weather, or travel through time to the age of the dinosaurs. Choose from a selection of films and in-person presentations during your visit. Or reserve the planetarium for a private show!

This pass allows a family (2 adults and their children under 17) admission at no charge.

 

Montshire Museum of Science

  • 140+ Exhibits on nature and the physical sciences

  • Programs, daily events, and featured exhibitions

  • Science park with hands-on water exhibits (seasonal)

  • Nature trails

  • Live animals

  • Woodland garden

Each pass provides entry for one adult or child. Due to the high cost of these one time passes, the number of passes per family is at the Librarian’s discretion, with a maximum of four.

 

VINS

Vermont Institute of Natural Science

VINS' mission is to motivate individuals and communities to care for the environment through education, research, and avian wildlife rehabilitation.

Our programs and services engage and instill in people of all backgrounds a desire to care for the wildlife and diverse natural habitats they encounter in their daily lives.

This pass admits four adults or children at a discounted rate of $5.00 per person.

Vermont History Museum

This one time pass admits 1 guest for free.

 

American Precision Museum

The American Precision Museum combines the atmosphere of an original 19th century factory building with a world-class collection of historic machines. The 1846 armory building, the “Shaping America” exhibition and accompanying programs explore industrial history in the context of innovation, creative problem solving, and the impact of precision manufacturing on American history and culture.

Pass admits two adults and two children

Vermont State Parks and Vermont Historic Sites

These passes allow for free admission of one car holding up to eight people into a Vermont State Park or Vermont Historical Site.

 

Library Cards

Patrons may use their library cards to borrow physical books for 3 weeks, and can also access the GMLC’s online collection of audiobooks and e-books.

Some resources, such as our Historical Collection, must remain in the library

How do I get a library card?

To get a card, come in to the library to fill out your basic information and sign the promise to return.


What can I get with a library card?

With a library card, you may borrow books from the physical collection. You may also speak to a librarian to set up a Libby account to borrow e-books and audiobooks.
