The Meaning of "Life" and the Meaning of Life

Some English words only have a single meaning, while others have many. In its online dictionary, Merriam-Webster records twenty separate senses for the common word “life,” with some of these having as many as four subsenses. What does this mean, and what do they mean? Food and drinks will be provided.
